Our client is a leading financial services institution with over 70 years of history and enjoys a strong global presence, with their APAC headquarters based in Singapore. They are also a well-known household brand amongst customers across the region.

Due to head expansion, they are currently looking for a Cloud Development Lead within their Technology Group. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Engineering, you will be accountable for the development of new features and enhancements for their Public Cloud Platform. You will also lead a team of Cloud Developers across the region to provide technical leadership and guidance for designing of new Cloud solutions and implementations. Last but not least, you will also be expected to work closely with senior stakeholders and business users to understand their requirements and provide technical insights in relation to the development of new cloud applications.

To qualify, you must have the following:

  • Holds at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or other related fields of study
  • Has at least 8-12 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years of technical leadership experience in Cloud Engineering / development and managing Cloud Developers
  • Strong technical expertise in using python for software development and Cloud Engineering / development
  • Additional experience in using other languages such as Java, C#/.NET, JavaScript, Ruby related to Cloud development will be a plus
  • Strong hands - on experience in public cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure etc.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing enterprise-wide public cloud solutions across the region
  • Prior experience in Cloud Architecture and computing across various public cloud platforms
  • Holds certifications in Microsoft Azure, GCP or AWS would be a plus
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and business leaders
