Industrial Key Account Manager (Bakery) - Sydney based

Job description

My client is an Italian manufacturer operating in the food industry more than 40 years, providing raw materials, semi-processed and finished products to their clients. They are looking to hire an Industrial Key Account Manager (Bakery) to join their team in Sydney, Australia. This role would have you be responsible for managing existing client relationships and bring in new clients across industrial accounts to drive business and revenue growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive new sales initiatives and foster lasting relationships with clients to enhance profitability and client base expansion.
  • Understand client needs and collaborate internally to propose effective solutions and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Serve as the main communication link between key customers and internal teams, managing customer issues and maintaining trust.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on account status, forecasting, and operational metrics to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with QA, R&D, and other relevant departments to meet client requirements and ensure the highest quality of products.

Key Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in Sales/Key Account Management in industrial bakery business, ideally with products like chocolate, margarine, and UHT cream.
  • Ability to independently develop the business and open new industrial accounts, with strong problem-solving skills and passion.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to operate independently and strategically in a fast-paced environment.
