My Background

I like to think of myself as “everybody’s recruiter.” Fully trilingual in Japanese, English, and Chinese, I bring nearly 20 years of experience in sales, business development, and recruitment. My career began in Tokyo, where I spent five years as a recruiter before moving to Singapore in 2010 to start a new chapter. Since then, I’ve focused on technology recruitment across both banking and non-banking sectors.

With a strong understanding of Japan and Singapore’s labour laws, immigration processes, and welfare systems, I aim to provide thoughtful guidance and reliable support to both clients and candidates.

Currently, I lead contracting recruitment within the technology space at Ambition Singapore, where I focus is on connecting organisations with the right talent and supporting professionals in achieving their career aspirations.

Roles I Recruit For

I am a 360-recruitment professional specialising in information technology (IT) talent solutions across the finance, e-commerce, and wider commercial sectors. My expertise spans contract, fixed-term, and outsourcing recruitment, allowing me to support organisations with a broad range of workforce needs.

Over the past 20 years, I have partnered with clients and candidates across the IT spectrum, including infrastructure, applications, cyber security, data, cloud, and digital transformation.

What I value most are the long-term relationships and genuine friendships I've been fortunate to build throughout my career. I take pride in being a trusted advisor who shares knowledge and provides support, even when it's not directly tied to revenue. For me, recruitment is about more than filling roles; it's about connecting people, solving challenges, and making a meaningful impact.

Outside of Ambition

I'm a nature explorer at heart, always curious and eager to discover new things. Travelling is one of my greatest passions, and I make it a point to explore new destinations every year. I'm also an advanced diver and an internationally certified BodyPump and Trip (indoor cycling) instructor. Whenever time allows, I teach group exercise classes before or after work, which keeps me motivated and gives me the chance to inspire others to stay active and positive.

Beyond fitness and adventure, I have a deep love for cooking and baking. I enjoy experimenting with different cuisines, with specialties in Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and French dishes. For me, food is not just about taste, it’s about bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences.
