Finance & Accounting Market Insights H2 2018
The increase in demand for finance professionals that we saw in the second half of 2017 has continued through the first half of 2018. The majority of demand has continued to be in similar areas, namely financial planning and analysis, commercial finance roles and internal audit.
The strong demand in these areas has led to talent shortages, which has meant that the length of time to hire has increased versus 3 to 6 months ago. Given that companies continue to focus on improving their business partnering functions, we expect this trend to remain through the second half of the year.
