Account Manager Japanese Speaking

Job description

This is a newly created headcount in Singapore and this role will report in to the Head of Global Custody Operations

This individual will work closely with Clients, Relationship Managers, Client Service Managers, Compliance, Products, Client Implementation, Legal, Network Management and Operations to ensure operational queries are timely resolved. This individual will be reporting to Head of Global Custody Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolution of queries and activities related to correspondent banking service for APAC clients.
  • Build strong expertise and consistent level of service through partnership with processing team.
  • Setup Service Level Agreement, Operating Service Level and monitoring of service quality
  • Follow-up client activity - provide reporting and managing operational risk.
  • Take charge of project related to initiative to develop our products / improve our services and efficiency.
  • Familiarise with the Market and Client Updates (MCU) impacting clients and processes.
  • Work in partnership with Client Service team for the preparation and delivery for the Service Review. Participate in the service review with the clients.
  • Comply with all regulations, policies and standards, contributing to an effective risk culture.
  • Provide support any regulatory, audit, review requirements.
  • Acting as a single-point of contact for clients

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 10 years' relevant experience Client interfacing skills and managing clients externally within the Custodian or Securities Space
  • Proficient in Japanese Language as this role will have to interact with Japanese Clients
