Accountant

Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting functions for commodity trading clients, overseeing month-end and year-end closings, and preparing consolidated financials. Additionally, tasks involve reconciling accounting and trading P&L, handling full set of accounts, managing inter-company transactions, and liaising with auditors and tax agents. The role necessitates forecasting and managing cash flow, analyzing financial indicators for business impact, coordinating external audits, and ensuring compliance with documentation and supplier onboarding procedures.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 2-5 years of relevant experience. They must possess strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting, along with proficiency in SAP and MS Office. Behavioral skills such as resourcefulness, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication are essential, as is the ability to adapt to digital transformation. Technical expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and IFRS is required. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit strong work ethics, professionalism, dependability, multitasking ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to effectively fulfill the demands of the role.
