Role Overview
We are seeking a senior-level expert in advertising recommendation systems to lead the design and optimization of advanced algorithmic solutions for large-scale, real-time applications. This role focuses on improving recommendation quality, user engagement, and advertising effectiveness through state-of-the-art machine learning and reasoning techniques.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement advanced reasoning and decision-making algorithms for large language models and recommendation systems, enabling multi-step inference and complex optimization.
* Develop and enhance recommendation methodologies using techniques such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, and multi-armed bandits.
* Apply collaborative filtering, content-based, and hybrid recommendation approaches to improve ad relevance and user experience.
* Stay current with research and industry advancements in recommendation systems, machine learning, and advertising technologies.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineering, product, and engineering teams to deploy algorithms into production systems.
* Partner with business and marketing stakeholders to align model performance with strategic advertising and growth objectives.
Requirements
* Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying recommendation systems at scale, including real-time and large-dataset environments.
* Strong expertise in recommendation algorithms, matrix factorization, and deep learning-based approaches.
* Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
* Strong interest in advancing advertising technology through data-driven and user-centric solutions.
* Demonstrated research impact, including publications in top-tier AI and machine learning conferences.
