Application Security Engineer - Java code audit (remote)

I am looking for an Application Security Engineer to join the Security Team.

My client is a well known influential company in the blockchain industry. This is a fully remote role can be remote and based in any geographical location in the world. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing source code to discover if there are any potential security bugs, exploits, weaknesses or violations of programming standards.

• • Min. 3-5 years in Java development.
  • Min. 2 years in the Security area.
  • Solid knowledge of Java, strong source code auditing skills.
  • Knowledge of popular Java frameworks (Spring, etc), experience with Web applications.
  • Understanding the different types of security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with at least one mainstream source code analysis tool.
  • Clear thinking, excellent analysis, and problem-solving skills, good learning ability, and team player mentality.
  • Strong communication skills, stress resistance, and keen interest in research.
