Application Support Engineer (Front Office Risk) wanted for a leading Financial Services Institution!

Our client is a leading financial services institution with over 35 years of history and enjoys a strong global presence across US, Europe and APAC region.

As part of their team expansion for their Singapore office, they are currently looking for a TradeOps Technology Engineer to join their Technology team. Reporting to Asia Support Lead, you will be responsible for providing application support for their front office Fixed Income Risk applications across APAC. You will also be expected to work closely with front office stakeholders including Traders to resolve critical issues and new automation initiatives to improve operational efficiencies.

To qualify, you must have the following:

  • Holds at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or other related fields of study
  • Has at least 5 to 10 years of experience providing application support for systematic / low-latency front office trading applications
  • Strong domain knowledge in either Fixed Income Risk or Commodities
  • Experience in engaging with front office business stakeholders including Traders, Quant Researchers and Portfolio Managers to resolve critical application issues and work on new project implementations
  • Strong technical expertise in both Linux and Python programming for automation
  • Prior development experience with Java, C++ or C# will be a plus
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and C-level leaders
