The company

My client is a well-known shipping company.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will help to drive the company's financial operations including accurate and periodic monthly/yearly financial reporting, forecasting/budgeting, cashflow planning, conduct variance analysis, compliance, taxation and etc. You will ensure effective and efficient cashflow management, overseeing collections from debtors and payments to creditors. You will be responsible to develop and implement standards, procedures and internal control processes accordance to corporate governance and statutory requirements. You will lead and guide various financial activities by working with internal stakeholders. You will support management decision making and deliver performance decks for key meetings.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or a Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with recent 5 years in similar capacity
• Possess strong leadership qualities and analytical skills
• Strategic, self-driven and hands-on, able to business partnering with stakeholders across the business
• Able to build effective relationships with stakeholders and bring about positive organizational change
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
