Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager

Job description

A global company in the food manufacturing industry is hiring a highly motivated and experienced Asisstant Finance Manager / Finance Manager as part of their expansion plan in Bangkok.

About the Role
This position plays a crucial role in overseeing accounting, costing, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, taxation, and compliance to support business operations and growth. You will work closely with regional leadership and receive strong support and coaching from a regional finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely, accurate financial statements in line with IFRS and local accounting standards

  • Lead annual budgeting and weekly EBIT forecasting processes

  • Manage supplier payments, credit limits, and customer receivables

  • Monitor foreign currency exposure and ensure compliance with VAT and tax regulations

  • Oversee product costing, bill of materials reviews, and performance KPI reporting

  • Track capital expenditures and investment returns

  • Support internal controls, procurement management, and ERP system implementation

  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and corporate policies

Requirements:

  • At least 5-6+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or start-up environments

  • Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities

  • Experience with process improvement and change management is a plus

  • Proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn and improve

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
