The Role
The position is responsible for day-to-day finance operations and regulatory BAU for a MAS-regulated capital markets entity. Key responsibilities include financial close support, regulatory and tax reporting, client money segregation, risk-based capital computation, and liaison with auditors and tax advisors. The role also supports ad-hoc finance and regulatory initiatives as required.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting or a related discipline, with a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent)
Around 5 years' experience in audit, financial reporting and/or regulatory reporting within a securities or capital markets environment
Solid knowledge of MAS regulations applicable to CMS licensees
Understanding of financial products such as securities, bonds and derivatives
Strong English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency required to work with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
Detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
