AVP, AML Data Analytics

Due to continued success, one of our key banking clients is hiring an AML Data Analytics professional to join the team in Singapore, at a senior AVP level. There are plans to expand the team in 2 years' time and for this role to step up as a Team Lead.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be the Subject Matter Expert in Data Analytics to research and enhance the CDD review process. Working closely with key stakeholders, identify and define the patterns within data and develop risk detection statistical models. You will identify emerging risks and apply strategies to mitigate them. You will ensure accurate documentation of workflows and reports on outputs and trends. You will build dashboard and present data analysis to senior stakeholders. You will also assist in digital improvement related projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science or quantitative related field
• At least 5 years' data analysis experience in the Financial Services industry and has knowledge of AML
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Java
• Ability to front stakeholders independently
