AVP, Assurance and Risk Control

Our client is a leading global bank, looking for an Assurance and Risk Control professional to join their Asia team in Singapore at AVP level.

Leading a junior analyst, you will be responsible for:

• 1st line of defence assurance testing on internal procedures by identifying risk and implementing controls
• Manage engagement with internal and external auditors, regulatory inspections and compliance reviews
• Conduct risk and control self-assessments, identify key risk indicators
• Assist the team with assurance activities and join discussions with Global team

Requirements:

• At least 5 years' relevant experience in risk and control, or audit assurance with strong knowledge of KYC/ AML
• Team player, detail oriented and ability to work on tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• ACAMS qualification would be a plus
• Ability to converse in Mandarin as interaction with Chinese clients is required
