About the Role
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to support audit-focused projects, working closely with clients to analyze freight rate agreements, shipment data, and business rules. This is a client-facing role that combines business analysis, project coordination, and data analysis to drive accurate processing and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively while supporting end-to-end project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret freight rate agreements and business rules to support configuration in internal systems
- Work with large and complex datasets (shipment, invoice, and audit data) to identify trends, discrepancies, and insights
- Gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements from clients and stakeholders
- Support project delivery by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and managing timelines and dependencies
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries, resolving issues, and providing consultative support
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving
- Analyze processed data and provide tailored solutions, reports, and recommendations based on client needs
- Facilitate training sessions for clients and external users on systems and services
- Develop and maintain documentation including user guides, process flows, and requirement documents
- Escalate and communicate key issues to internal stakeholders in a timely manner
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and client experience
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, client-facing roles, or technical service environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
- Hands-on experience with data tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Exposure to project management or project coordination, with the ability to manage timelines and stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
