About the Role

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to support audit-focused projects, working closely with clients to analyze freight rate agreements, shipment data, and business rules. This is a client-facing role that combines business analysis, project coordination, and data analysis to drive accurate processing and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively while supporting end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret freight rate agreements and business rules to support configuration in internal systems
  • Work with large and complex datasets (shipment, invoice, and audit data) to identify trends, discrepancies, and insights
  • Gather, clarify, and document business and functional requirements from clients and stakeholders
  • Support project delivery by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and managing timelines and dependencies
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries, resolving issues, and providing consultative support
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem-solving
  • Analyze processed data and provide tailored solutions, reports, and recommendations based on client needs
  • Facilitate training sessions for clients and external users on systems and services
  • Develop and maintain documentation including user guides, process flows, and requirement documents
  • Escalate and communicate key issues to internal stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and client experience

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems) or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, client-facing roles, or technical service environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
  • Hands-on experience with data tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Exposure to project management or project coordination, with the ability to manage timelines and stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
