Business Analyst (Systematic Trading)

Location: Singapore

Overview

A leading global investment platform is hiring a Business Analyst to support the onboarding of systematic trading teams and the rollout of new strategies. You will partner directly with portfolio managers and senior stakeholders across the firm. The position offers strong exposure to how modern electronic trading businesses operate end-to-end - from research infrastructure and market connectivity to governance and risk. It suits individuals who combine technical capability, intellectual curiosity, and the discipline to deliver in fast-moving, deadline-driven settings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with full lifecycle onboarding of new portfolio management teams.

  • Translate research and trading needs into setups aligned with internal standards.

  • Educate and guide teams on operating procedures and technology integration.

  • Coordinate strategy rollouts with Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Risk.

  • Interface with brokers, exchanges, and third-party vendors.

  • Provide ongoing support across broker data workflows, trading processes, compliance matters, and business continuity.

  • Contribute to relationship management with external providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Technical background with interest in trading and market operations.

  • Understanding of global market structure and electronic trading; regulatory awareness or ability to ramp up quickly.

  • Capability to support senior stakeholders while independently running parallel projects under tight deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to present technical topics to non-technical audiences.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable documenting specifications.

  • Prior exposure to financial services is advantageous.

  • Working knowledge of Python and SQL required; Linux/Unix scripting is a plus.

  • Familiarity with database concepts is beneficial.

  • Experience with liquid or macro instruments, derivatives, or digital asset environments is helpful but not mandatory.
