Business Development Manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and execute customer/product propositions/strategies to raise productivity within Business Banking, Commercial Banking and Private Bank segments.
  • Work closely with Bank stakeholders (Team Heads, Bankers, Bancassurance Managers, Insurance Specialists) to ensure achievement of Bancassurance targets.
  • Share market intelligence, sales/customer statistics and sales concepts with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify individual sellers who need additional coaching to meet higher production targets.
  • Devise coaching methodology and conduct effective coaching sessions.
  • Perform regular morning briefing at branches or segment gathering to drive desired agenda.
  • Perform ad hoc request to assist, facilitate, or coordinate with segment activities such as seminars and briefings.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience with successful track records.
  • Prior Bancassurance experience preferred.
  • Experience with Business Insurance with understanding of the local SMEs market would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, communication (written and verbal), presentation, and relationship management skills; with a high degree of tact.
