Business Development Strategy Manager, Crypto

Job description

A leading Cryptocurrency Exchange is hiring for a Business Development Strategy Manager. This is a newly created headcount within the Derivatives business.


Reporting to the Head of BD, Derivatives, this is a critical role to strategize on how best to increase wallet share, channels and capture new client segments. In this role, you will research and identify new business opportunities, and develop market-fit and innovative trading, execution and analytics strategies to broaden the business product offerings. You will proactively monitor the competitor landscape and work with the product and marketing teams to iterate the overall strategy.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a product, sales or BD strategy role in brokerage, cryptocurrency or electronic trading firm
  • Ability to work with product, marketing teams on strategy and growth
  • Interest and passion in cryptocurrency
  • Proficient in mandarin due to key stakeholders being based in China
  • Experience in algo trading/derivatives trading would be advantageous (not essential)
