C++ Developer (Market Data)

Job Description

Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is on the lookout for a dynamic and highly skilled C++ developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency market data systems. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial markets and real-time market data to build innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment. The role is based in Bangalore and would require relocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing low-latency C++ applications

• Proficiency in designing and building applications for sophisticated market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, etc.)

• Strong understanding of APAC financial markets

• Comprehensive knowledge of market data concepts, including data models (fields/messages), order book structures (L1/L2/L3), communication protocols (e.g., snapshot, delta) etc

• Good experience in Linux system internals, networking

• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus

• Experience working in the HFT domain is highly advantageous
