C++ Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure

Are you passionate about building high-performance systems and solving complex engineering challenges at scale? We are seeking an experienced C++ Software Developer to join a prestigious global hedge fund. In this role, you'll be part of a high-calibre engineering team driving the design and optimization of microservices and distributed systems that power real-time data processing and analytics for research and trading.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Engineering
• Extensive hands-on experience with C++
• Knowledge in Python
• Strong experience working on microservices
• Familiarity with Linux environment
• Experience handling large datasets and working with highly available distributed systems
• Knowledge of SQL databases and data serialization formats
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Google Cloud or AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes is beneficial
• Proficiency in additional programming languages like Rust or Q is an advantage
• Experience working in hedge funds or banks is highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with different stakeholders
