Category Manager

Our client is a fast-growing social e-commerce start-up in Singapore with regional operations. They are now keen to look for a Category Manager, which is a permanent role based at Tampines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing and buying new products
• Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers
• Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, timely delivery, billing
• Make insightful buying decisions by analyzing market trends
• Coordinate with Operations team on inventory matters
• Plan and develop strategies to achieve monthly sales within budget
• Work with other departments on product listings and promotions
• Brainstorm on product campaigns and product push

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Retail Management, Supply Chain, Business Management or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience in FMCG or supermarket industry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
