Our client is a leading financial services institution with over 20 years of history and enjoys a strong global presence across the US, UK, Canada and APAC region.

As part of their team expansion for their Singapore office, they are currently looking for a Commodities Application Support Engineer to join their Technology team. Reporting to both the Head of Support and Asia CIO, you will be responsible for providing L2 and L3 application support for their commodities trading applications across APAC. You will also be expected to collaborate with stakeholders across various business functions such as Traders, Portfolio Managers, Operations, Middle & Back-office analyst etc.

To qualify, you must have the following:

  • Holds at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or other related fields of study
  • Has at least 6 to 10 years of experience providing application support for ETRM / CTRM systems and applications, such as ION, Openlink or similar platforms
  • Strong domain knowledge in physical commodities products such as Oil, Gas, Metals, Freights etc.
  • Experience in engaging with front office business stakeholders including Traders and Portfolio Managers to resolve critical application issues and new project implementations
  • Good technical expertise with Linux, C/C++, C#, Python / Shell
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and C-level leaders
