Commodities Trading Technology, Support Engineer

Join a leading global financial services firm, driving innovation and delivering exceptional results. We're seeking a skilled Commodities Application Support Engineer to join a dynamic team.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our Commodities front, middle, and back-office systems. Collaborating with a global team across multiple locations, you'll engage directly with front office users to address issues and drive improvements. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining system integrity, documenting processes, and facilitating seamless integration with middle and back-office systems.

To thrive in this environment, you'll need to be a self-motivated problem-solver with a deep understanding of commodities markets and trade lifecycles. Your technical proficiency, coupled with strong communication skills, will enable you to excel in this fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance, support, and maintain Commodities front, middle, and back-office systems
- Engage with stakeholders to resolve issues and identify improvement opportunities
- Document support issues and trade flows
- Facilitate end-user training on new product implementations

Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of Commodities trade lifecycles
- Experience supporting physical commodities trading and production environments
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Familiarity with Commodities trading platforms and CTRM/ETRM platforms
- Strong SQL experience and exposure to Linux, C++, C#, Python
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
