My client is a leading global player in the Commodities trading space. They have ambitious growth plans in the region and are looking for experienced traders to join their team. Whilst they are predominantly a Metals trading company, they are able to support and create infrastructrure for traders from different backgrounds as they are keen to take an opportunistic approach to this expansion.

The incumbent would be responsible to independently lead and manage the trading activities; developing opportunities and relationships with suppliers and consumers. Further, to capitalize on paper trading opportunities as well in addition to maintaining a strong risk & governance driven approach.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • 5+ years' of relevant experience in trading commodities
  • Experience across regional markets with a strong network
  • Strong and demonstrable track record
  • A bachelors' degree in any discipline
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Good multitasking skills
  • Good communication skills required for this role
