Our client is a global top-tier hedge fund. They are looking to hire for their growing Compliance team in India and have mid-senior openings in their Bangalore office.

Job scope

You will be a part of the Compliance team and help support the maintenance and enhancement of the firm's existing onshore business/operations in India while leveraging on their global compliance program.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Research and analysis on all relevant compliance issues and provide recommendations to mitigate risks, also to draft/amend/design appropriate policies, procedures and controls
• Undertake monitoring and surveillance in relation to such policies and conduct internal reviews as appropriate
• Conduct internal investigations/risk assessments as and when required
• Design and coordinate local compliance training programs
• Prepare for and respond to regulatory inquiries

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Econ, Law or other similar fields
• 8-10 years of relevant compliance experience within a bank or similar setup
• Experience implementing and maintaining compliance programs
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
