Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Control Engineering Specialist to support the design, implementation, and optimization of intelligent building automation solutions across Southeast Asia and India. This role focuses on HVAC control engineering, system integration, commissioning, and technical leadership, while driving best practices in building automation technologies and supporting regional project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement BMS control strategies for HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, VRF/VRV, and ventilation systems.
• Engineer, test, commission, troubleshoot, and optimize BMS, DDC, and PLC-based control systems.
• Develop and modify control logic, graphics, and HMI interfaces for building automation projects.
• Configure and integrate building automation networks using BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based communication protocols.
• Review HVAC mechanical drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate system implementation.
• Develop and validate airside and waterside control sequences to optimize energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and system reliability.
• Support installation, startup, commissioning, and project execution activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare engineering documentation, including control narratives, I/O lists, commissioning reports, operation manuals, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate and implement modern building automation technologies and control architectures.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to engineering teams on BMS engineering, programming, testing, and commissioning.
• Deliver technical workshops and support regional engineering teams through international travel as required.

Ideal Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Building Management System (BMS) control engineering, testing, and commissioning.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, VRF/VRV, and ventilation systems. Preferably in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, data centres, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of BMS/DDC/PLC control systems and control logic development.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and IP-based communication protocols.
• Solid understanding of airside and waterside control strategies, as well as temperature, humidity, pressure, and flow control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing modern building automation architectures and instrumentation technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, commissioning, and system optimization skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support project execution, commissioning, and engineering training.
