Corporate Actions Associate (ELN)

A leading global financial market infrastructure provider is seeking a Corporate Actions Associate to join its Asset Services team in Singapore.

Role Overview
You will act as a subject matter expert in corporate actions, with a focus on equity-linked instruments. The role involves managing end-to-end processing, ensuring accuracy in transaction handling, supporting client queries, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate, authorize, and execute client and depository instructions
• Liaise with issuers, agents, and counterparties to resolve discrepancies and clarify events
• Investigate and resolve cash/securities breaks in a timely manner
• Handle complex client queries and lead issue resolution
• Escalate operational issues and provide timely reporting to management
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
• Support broader corporate actions activities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant banking/operations experience
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• Knowledge of securities operations, including SWIFT messaging and equities/bonds
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel required; VBA/Access is a plus)
