Country Operations Specialist | Regional | Up to 4.7k

The role of Country Operation Specialist at the Regional Headquarters primarily involves providing support to distributors regarding Demand & Supply, Product, and Pricing management for vehicles in the Thailand/Mekong region.

Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:
   
   
   • Develop and update formats for demand and supply forecasts, as well as monthly sales reports to facilitate the ordering process for vehicles and parts by distributors.
   • Maintain databases related to market trends, sales figures, and pricing to support planning and strategic activities.
   • Coordinate vehicle pricing operations including FTA surveys, price notifications, and vehicle specifications in collaboration with local and head office teams.
2. Planning Management:
   
   
   • Conduct analysis of market dynamics, product offerings, promotional activities, customer profiles, and competitor movements to optimize vehicle product, pricing, and sales strategies.
   • Prepare business proposals for new vehicle pricing, negotiate terms, and obtain approval from relevant stakeholders and management.
   • Regularly update profit calculation sheets incorporating various cost factors to monitor profitability and devise strategies for profit optimization.
   • Undertake cost evaluation studies to assess fluctuations in vehicle costs.
3. Other Duties:
   
   
   • Address ad-hoc requests or issues from internal departments, head office, regional offices, and distributor counterparts.
   • Assist management in preparing materials for top-level management reporting as needed.
   • Participate in departmental budget planning and coordinate with distributors regarding agreements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, Engineering, or Social Sciences.
• Basic understanding or experience in demand and supply concepts is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) for data analysis, visualization, and reporting purposes.
• Strong numerical aptitude, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
