Data Engineer (Global Investment Firm)

About The Role

We are partnering with a global investment firm to identify a Data Engineer to join their expanding team in Asia. The Group leverages statistical models, scientific methods, and advanced technology platforms to generate strong investment performances.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining scalable data infrastructure
• Processing and integrating structured and unstructured financial data
• Collaborating with researchers and portfolio managers to understand data needs and deliver impactful data products
• Improving data quality, coverage, and usability
• Engaging with external data vendors to onboard new datasets

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in software or data engineering
• Strong Python programming skills
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and ETL/data pipeline tools
