Data Scientist/Data Analyst

Job Title: Data Scientist/Analyst (Global Financial Institution)

Our client, a global financial institution, is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist/Analyst in their Singapore office.

Responsibilities:
- Perform AML modeling tasks, develop new analytics methods to improve AML modeling
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices
- Conduct training programs
- Achieve collective business objectives

Ideal candidate:
- 3~8+ years of relevant Banking experience in building models using Python or R programming.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Statistical Modelling and Machine Learning.
- Sound understanding of Data Analysis and Data Science models.
- Expertise in technical skillsets including R, Python, etc.
- Knowledge in SQL / HQL / Hive / Hadoop scripting and databases such as Oracle and HaaS.
- Knowledge of AML, risk, credit modeling, etc. would be highly preferred.
