Deputy GM, Cryptocurrency Exchange

A global Cryptocurrency Exchange is hiring a Deputy General Manager. This is a newly created headcount.

In this role, you will manage the strategy and development of the business covering APAC. managing a team of 30 peopel across operations, marketing and business development; you will develop new strategies to shape the business model and expand in new markets. You will look to review and increase the P&L and performance of the business.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• 10 - 12 years of experience in fintech/blockchain startups with at least 5 years of people management experience
• Keen interest in cryptocurrency and knowledge of the area
• Proven track record of growing a team and managing P&L
• Come from commercial growth/BD/operations background and taken on different roles
• Mature and independent thinker who is able to draw out a vision for the team and business
• Proficiency in spoken mandarin to deal with stakeholders in China
• Degree in business/finance/marketing
