Device Marketing Manager (9 months contract)

As a Device Marketing manager, you will execute and monitor marketing plans that result in the sales of modern devices and related services/software across Asia, designed to win share from competitors and achieve business goals.

In partnership with device sales and category management, this marketing manager executes effective and actionable device marketing plans and is responsible for excellence in execution.

This role successfully applies and tracks marketing programs within budget that maximize revenue and marketing ROI to achieve OEM and partner business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Device Marketing (40%)

  • Work with the Asia device marketing lead on the planning, execution, management and monitoring of marketing plan
  • Work with Asia SRs to ensure timely, accurate and disciplined marketing execution
  • Coordinate joint marketing events, initiatives and programs with internal stakeholders and partners
  • Coordinate, manage and track Asia SR execution and KPIs of Corp-funded programs
  • Monitor and track device marketing fund allocation and usage and track ROI on a monthly basis, or as required


Anti-Piracy (30%)

  • Work with the Asia device marketing lead on the planning, execution, management and monitoring of the Project Air Cover plan, including collaboration with internal stakeholders and partners
  • Coordinate planning and execution with CDS teams, working closely with Corp and CELA teams both in SRs and AHQ
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns for use across the SRs
  • Monitor closely field execution and track progress


Marketing Excellence in Execution (30%)

  • Adapt marketing materials created for use across SRs and with partners
  • Support planning reviews on marketing campaigns, including KPIs before campaigns begin, and help orchestrate reviews
  • Adhere to compliance rules for the CDS team, and drive the same through engagement with SRs and in practice.
  • Support usage of discretionary investment to drive sell-through of devices
  • Monitor closely field execution and track progress

Experiences Required:

  • Candidates must have at least 5-8 years of practical experience developing and driving partner and/or customer marketing (including focus on digital) strategy and execution
  • Be able to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
  • Possess a personal passion for marketing, customer relationship marketing, technology, partners and satisfaction
  • Excellent collaborator in driving leadership across partners, segments, field teams and corp teams
  • Marketing knowledge of effective marketing strategies, tactics and portfolio investments to maximize return on marketing investment
  • Knowledge of OEM, SMB, Enterprise and/or Consumer marketing and selling approaches
