Director of IT Innovation

Job description

I am recruiting for my client, who is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead their technology strategy and operations, focusing on driving innovation, operational efficiency, and business alignment.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that support business objectives, spearheading cloud migration, and leading digital transformation initiatives.
  • They are venturing into the AI space, with data analytics playing a significant role in this new direction. In this role, you will lead AI-driven initiatives, establish strong data governance frameworks, and utilize data analytics to drive informed decision-making and spark innovation.
  • Managing daily IT operations, including both cloud and on-prem infrastructure, will be a core responsibility, along with implementing strong cybersecurity measures to protect the organization.
  • My client is using Microsoft systems, so experience with MS systems on the Microsoft platform would be ideal. In this role, you will manage these systems to ensure they align with business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Leading a high-performing IT team, you will foster collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth while ensuring IT projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Vendor management will also play a crucial role in ensuring quality service delivery and aligning all technology initiatives with the organization's strategic vision.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in IT leadership within in-house functions, with a proven track record in data analytics and implementing AI and ML solutions.

You should also possess a strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud migrations, ensuring that technology systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with the organization's digital transformation goals
