Director, Responsible Officer - MAS

My client is a global FinTech player that has experienced rapid growth in the last few years. As part of their product expansion, they are setting up a Capital Markets entity and are looking for an experienced candidate to take on the role of a Director for their dealings with MAS.

Due to the unique nature of this role, it can be done in a reduced hours capacity. It will entail working on the relationship with MAS for the companies licence, involved in the applicationa and ongoing dialogue. They would be ideating and implementing strategies around risk management and operational excellence.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • 12+ years' of experience
  • Experience with Capital Markets (CIS and OTC Derivatives)
  • Plus point if they have done a CMS licence before
  • CMFAS M6, M6A and M1 or MB certifications good to have, or being willing to pass them
  • A bachelors' degree in any discipline
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Good multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
