My client is a leading global asset manager. Due to continued business expansion they're looking for a motivated & technically strong individual to join their Investment team.

Working as part of a larger team which has global coverage, the candidate will have a focus on picking value stocks across Asian markets but with a specific focus on the Indian market as a start. The industry coverage is agnostic and the focus is to perform an in-depth analysis which includes gaining a detailed understanding of the drivers of returns, business valuations & financial modelling. Following this - the candidate will transition into a Portfolio Management role.

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • 7+ years' of working experience within Equity Research/Stockpicking
  • Experience across various industries
  • Knowledge of the Indian market is a must
  • A bachelors' degree in a related discipline, Masters' Degree or a MBA is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Good multitasking skills
  • Good communication skills required for this role
