Finance Director - local role, sizable MNC

Our client is a well-established and highly reputable MNC with business operations across the globe. To facilitate their company growth, they are looking for a high calibre all-rounded Finance Director to join their local finance team.

Reporting to the Regional CFO, your responsibilities include:

• Leading the local finance team and project teams, and being the core senior management team liaising with functional teams and other offices
• Focusing on business and strategic planning to achieve business long-term and short-term goals e.g. profitability and competitors studies support by analysis and market intelligence
• Driving business growths and identify business potentials
• Responsible for the all-rounded finance duties in the local market and ensure the transactions are complied with relevant accounting standards and framework
• Managing the group cash flow and cash & bank accounts
• Responsible for budgeting, financial forecasts and analysis, and to provide recommendations to senior management to improve business performance
• Enhancing internal control and related accounting process
• Facilitate and prepare financial reports in a timely manner
• Ensure the financial statements comply with accounting standards
• Business partnering and working closely with Operation, Supply Chain and Sales & Marketing teams, liaising with them on budget targets
• Facilitating and creating new initiatives and business models on cost savings and operational excellence
• Liaise with external auditors for financial statements preparation
• Work closely and support different internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with ad hoc projects e.g business expansion

To qualify, individuals must possess:

• Qualified Accountant. Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline, Qualified accountant. Training in Big 4 audit firms are highly preferred
• Training in Big 4 Auditing firms are highly preferred
• At least 12 years working experiences, solid background in MNCs, complex and matrix organizational structure are preferred
• Experiences in fast-paced environment and being adaptable to changes
• Hands-on experiences in Operations and leading functional teams are of an advantage
• Exposure in both local and regional market is a plus
• Excellent communication and business partnership skills to liaise with stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
• Occasional Travel maybe needed
