Finance Manager (Group Consolidation & Finance Transformation)

My client is a well-established international group headquartered in Singapore with a presence across multiple regions globally. They are currently undergoing an exciting finance transformation journey including a full ERP migration, and are looking for a technically strong finance leader to anchor their group reporting function and drive this evolution from the front.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CFO in Singapore, you will lead group-level financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance across a multi-entity, cross-border structure. Beyond the core reporting remit, you will play a pivotal role in the company's ongoing finance digitalisation agenda, acting as the Finance SME on ERP optimisation, process automation, and workflow improvements. You will also oversee tax compliance and mentor a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead group financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Own IFRS technical accounting and ensure alignment with local statutory reporting requirements
  • Act as Finance SME on ERP implementation and ongoing system optimisation
  • Drive process improvement and automation across the finance function
  • Oversee Singapore corporate tax and GST compliance; liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Lead and develop a small team, fostering a continuous improvement mindset

The Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting with prior Big 4 audit experience required. Candidate with prior Consumer Goods / FMCG or similar sectors welcomed (though not mandatory), we are open to strong finance professionals from any industry who bring the right technical foundation, mindset and eagerness to grow
  • Hands-on exposure to multi-entity, cross-border group consolidation
  • Strong command of IFRS and Singapore statutory reporting requirements
  • Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Business Central exposure strongly preferred
  • Solid knowledge of Singapore corporate tax and GST, Hong Kong and/or European tax exposure a plus
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring team members
