Finance Manager (Professional Services)

A fast-growing global digital agency is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their Singapore team. This is a hands-on leadership role partnering closely with business and account leaders to drive the financial success of the business, you will be overseeing a small team managing daily finance operations, financial reporting, controls, client finance, and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly financial closing, prepare management reports, variance analysis, and commentary for local and regional leadership within stipulated deadlines
  • Maintain and update the weekly revenue pipeline report, tracking movements across risk categories with supporting commentary
  • Review P&L and balance sheet, identifying material variances versus forecast and articulating results clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Oversee AR, AP, intercompany transactions, billing, WIP, and client deposits
  • Manage cashflow including debt collection, payments, payroll, and capital expenditure oversight
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in line with global policy requirements and continuously improve financial processes and controls
  • Support client servicing teams on project setup, vendor and client onboarding, revenue recognition, and collections
  • Oversee statutory reporting including annual financial statements, external and group audits, corporate tax, GST, and WHT submissions
  • Liaise with tax agents, corporate secretaries, and external auditors on all compliance and filing matters
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on financial systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and member of an IFAC-recognised professional body or qualified accountant recognised under Singapore law
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably within a client services, agency, or project accounting environment
  • At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite. Experience with Workday will be advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a positive can-do attitude
