Financial Controller

Job description

Our client is a fast expanding and well-funded start up in Asia Pacific region, They are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their Singapore team.

You will play an integral part of the finance and leadership team, overseeing the end-to-end finance reporting function while acting as a business partner on commercial matters with different business leaders.

You will need to have deep industry knowledge as you will be heavily involved in forecasting, variance analysis, budgeting, cashflow management, statutory, compliance and tax matters to ensure all financial matters are adhered to on a timely basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Strong communication and team/stakeholder management skills
  • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, with at least 3 years on a controller role. SAAS/e-commerce/digital sector experience will be a plus. Technically strong in accounting and reporting, familiarity with US GAAP reporting and tax compliance are an advantageous.
