Functional Support Engineer (Derivatives & Pricing) wanted for a leading Financial Services Institution!

Our client is a leading financial services institution with over 35 years of history and enjoys a strong global presence across Europe and APAC region.

This is a newly created headcount as part of the team expansion to support new functionalities of their in-house Pricing and Risk Management platform. Reporting to the Lead Manager, you will be responsible for providing functional support to the Front Office users including Traders to ensure that the software meets business requirements and configured based on business requirements. You will also be expected to perform functional testing and change management to ensure deliverables are met, as well as conducting user training sessions to make sure they are familiar with the reporting tools and systems functionalities. You will also have a customer-oriented mindset to ensure critical issues are resolved and managed effectively to closure.

To qualify, you must have the following:

  • Holds at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other related fields of study
  • Has at least 3 years of Front Office Functional Support experience to Traders and Front Office users on real-time Risk Management & Pricing systems
  • Strong domain knowledge in Interest Rate Derivatives and Credit Derivatives
  • Experience in engaging with front office business stakeholders including Traders to identity root cause, resolve critical issues and work on new project implementations and backlogs
  • Technical expertise in Linux and SQL
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders
  • Certification in either CFA or FRM is a nice to have
