Head, Cryptocurrency Exchange

A global cryptocurrency exchange is rapidly scaling their teams, and are recruiting for a Country Head to manage the Singapore office. This will be overlooking 15 people across various functions.

This global exchange is looking to apply for a payments license here in Singapore to diversify their products. Hence, they require a seasoned professional to initiate the license application and take over management responsibilities. The team will cover sales, operations, finance, marketing, risk and compliance. The incumbent will also implement business development plans and marketing plans for the business. He/she will also be the main point of contact with MAS.

The successful candidate must have the following:

• 5 - 10 years of experience in financial services or global exchange, with strong product knowledge across FX/CFD/Derivatives
• Prior experience with applying for a similar license (CMS, SLA, RMO)
• Strong network in the Singapore with regulators and other FIs
• Prior exposure to cryptocurrency trading is advantageous
• Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
