Head of BD, Trading Platform

A global trading platform is hiring a BD Director/Head of BD. This is a newly created headcount.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and design short and long-term strategies to fuel the growth of the company and support the operational plans of the business
• Bring team to match the business development and sales target
• Identify and onboard potential broker partners
• Driving trading volume and revenue growth from global markets by actively engaging external participants and potential partners, developing acquisition strategies

The successful candidate must have the following:

• At least 10 years of experience in a business development in traditional financial broker markets, or trading platforms
• Driven and strategic mindset with strong communication skills with excellent relationship management skills
• Hungry and driven individual who is able to be a commercial thinker

• Bilingual in English and Chinese, as close interaction with Chinese counterparts is required

• Track record of onboarding new clients within the CFD/FX space
• Team player who would also like to manage and scale a team
