Head of Compliance (Payment firm)

Due to business expansion, a payment firm is looking for a senior Compliance professional to join their team in Singapore.

As the sole contributor, you will be responsible for:

• Compliance advisory for the payment and financial products
• Review and negotiate contracts, commercial and product agreements
• Handle regulatory queries from MAS and submit regulatory filings and surveys to MAS
• Conduct regulatory assessments with internal and external auditors
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments and implement when required for the firm
• Enhance the compliance culture within the firm while establishing policies, tools and training for the business

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking or related field
• At least 5-10 years' relevant experience in Compliance and Legal, within the payment industry
• Experienced in communicating with MAS, and understand the regulatory and licensing requirements for the payment industry
• Ability to work independently in a start-up environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to converse in Mandarin as interaction with Chinese clients is required
