Head of Engineering

Our client is a regional financial technology startup dedicated to creating the best mobile financial services for travellers by simplifying overseas spending and creating a fuss-free travel experience. They are a group of travel, tech and payment enthusiasts, with backgrounds from leading tech brands to top financial institutions. Since they started in 2016, they have been dedicated to creating the best mobile financial services to Asia, starting with a core focus on travellers.

Their platform is built with best-in-class foreign currencies trading capability to execute transactions at spot wholesale exchange rates. Their foreign exchange rates update minute-by-minute.

Currently, they are looking for the head of engineering. This role will be the most senior engineering person in the whole company, pretty much like an acting CTO. The right candidate should have experience of building up a high calibre engineering team that is supporting highly scalable and available systems. Though this person does not needs to do hands-on coding, they definitely need a do-er instead of talker. Salary-wise, they are willing to pay competitively for the right ones.
