Head of Finance - Consumer sector

Job description

Our client is a reputable company with global operation in the consumer sector. To facilitate their business needs, they are looking for a high calibre Head of Finance to join their finance team in the Singapore Office.

Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities include:

  • Lead and monitor a small team and ensure the accuracy of Group level financial statement
  • Responsible for the Group Financial reporting, consolidation for statutory reporting
  • Leading business transformation projects and new initiatives to enhance efficiency and business performance - including system update, process improvement etc
  • Monitoring company cash flow, responsible for setting budget, financial forecasts and analysis
  • Facilitate and prepare financial reports in a timely manner
  • Ensure the financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards and compliance
  • Liaise with external auditors for financial statements preparation
  • Work closely and support different internal stakeholders
  • Manage different finance projects

To qualify, individuals must possess:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline, Qualified accountant. Training in Big4 is preferred
  • At least 10 years working experiences, including working in sizable companies with overseas entities
  • Experiences in fast-paced environment
  • Solid Regional/ Overseas exposures are highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and business partnership skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin to business partner various stakeholders
  • Occasional Travel is needed after border reopens
