Head of Finance - Trading company

My client is a well-known international trading conglomerate. The company is continuing to expand across SEA and are looking to strengthen their finance function by adding a Head of Finance professional to their Singapore team. As a key part of the management team, you will play an integral part in the future and direction of the company's plans.

Reporting directly into the CFO, you will lead the finance department on all accounting and statutory reporting matters and be a key point of contact on audit and taxation matters. You will manage cashflow, debt/equity financing and budgeting processes, while ensuring Transfer Pricing guidelines are adhered to. In addition, you will be responsible for risk management and funding/treasury matters.

To qualify, ideally individuals must possess:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA or be a CPA or its equivalent
• 10-15 years of relevant work experience within trading, ideally with an audit background
• Consolidation and regulatory reporting experience
• Solid taxation knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have an analytical mind and enjoy working in fast-paced environments
