My clients are a well known Pharma company and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Manufacturing to lead their manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all manufacturing activities to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, growth, quality, people development, and financial goals. As a Business Continuity (BC) Management Team Member, you will execute, make decisions, and coordinate the business-specific part of the BC plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear direction, strong leadership, and guidance to the Manufacturing team at all levels to achieve their goals and desired results.
• Define annual goals and develop long & short-term plans for the Manufacturing team in alignment with company objectives, operating policies, and plans.
• Propose and manage the annual budget for the manufacturing function, including plans for equipment, materials, and staff resource planning.
• Develop, review, and implement strategies to enhance product quality, productivity, and cost control to improve manufacturing processes and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with policies, internal/external controls, and standards in regulatory compliance, especially in GMP and HSE.
• Manage human resources, including hiring, training, and developing a team in technical and professional development to support company goals. Build a robust succession plan to ensure business continuity.
• Focus on future readiness, including technical and Operational Excellence (OpEx) competence.
• Ensure site compliance with the company's global Crisis Management, Business Continuity Management, and business compliance processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Currently in a Head of Manufacturing role, with a minimum of 5 years in management in a manufacturing role. Alternatively, a Senior Manager with at least 5 years in the role, totalling 15 years in pharma and recognized as a high performer with good learning agility.
• 5 years of experience managing diverse teams in a manufacturing environment, leading both technical and people leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of finance and budgets.
• Proven track record of delivering operational savings year-on-year.
• Technical first-line experience.
• A go-getter attitude with a proactive approach.
