About the Role

As the Head of Product, you will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle , from strategy and discovery to delivery and optimization. You'll be responsible for defining the product vision and ensuring alignment with the company's overall business goals. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Technology, Business, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to create customer-centric payment products that enhance user experience, drive adoption, and support regional growth.

You will also lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the payments product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and market trends.
  • Lead the development of new payment products and features including payment gateways, merchant acquiring, digital wallets, cross-border payments, and settlement solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and seamless payment experiences.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Drive product performance through KPIs and analytics; ensure continuous improvement in adoption, reliability, and revenue.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, setting clear goals and building strong product capabilities within the organization.
  • Work closely with regulators and compliance teams to ensure products meet all regulatory and security standards.
  • Partner with commercial and operations teams to define go-to-market strategies for new payment solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles within payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling payment products (e.g., payment gateways, wallets, or acquiring platforms).
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem - including card networks, merchant acquiring, issuing, real-time payments, and cross-border settlements.
  • Demonstrated ability to define strategy and drive execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across all levels.
  • Passion for innovation, customer experience, and solving complex business challenges through technology.
