Head of Risk Management (Thailand)

Our client is an Asia leading fintech company, empowering individuals and businesses through accessible, tech-driven financial solutions.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Risk for the Thailand market. You will work closely with the Group level Head of Risk and the Thailand CEO to make sure a robust risk management framework in the company.

Your key responsibilities

  • Set and execute end-to-end risk strategy across credit, operations, and compliance
  • Approve complex credit cases with sharp underwriting judgment
  • Optimize risk-based pricing and automate credit scoring models
  • Lead debt recovery with data-backed strategies and legal know-how
  • Build and mentor a lean, high-impact risk team
  • Act as the key risk voice to regulators, investors, and exec leadership

What we are looking for

  • 8 years and above risk management in Fintech/ Banking/ Lending/ Loan or related financial service space
  • Hands-on experience of credit risk analysis and approval is a must.
  • Experience of managing underwriting, scorecard design, and risk governance
  • Deep knowledge of compliance (SEC a plus)
  • Fluent in Thai & English for multiple stakeholder management purpose.
