Our clients are a leading player in the retail industry and are currently looking for a HR Director to join their organisation. The HR Director position is responsible for leading and managing activities to support the Compliances, payroll, talent operations, Comm & Ben and the HR shared service centre.
- This position will cover a regional scope of 8 - 10 countries under its care. You will own the HR Operations and be the point of contact for the APAC HRBPs.
- Understand varying business needs and priorities; align HR operation priorities and ensure stakeholder expectations are met.
- Interacts and work closely with leadership to identify deliverable gaps and possible solutions. Works closely with other HR teams such as Training, Compensation, Generalists and COE's on issues that relate to and may need to involve the HR Shared Service Centre team.
- Actively engage in problem/conflict resolution, coaching and counselling, training and development.
Ideally as a candidate you should be employee oriented who is able to help the people in coaching. Be a strong communicator and influencer to help them people within the organisation to strive for excellence through inspiring the team. You would have a minimum of 12 years of experience within the HR Operations or/and other related HR fields. Worked in big MNC organisation with matrix environments. Have a strong understanding of HR programs, HR systems and technologies. Looking for candidates who have a strong retail industrial background.
